The South Florida native was born Connie Piriz. She loved performing for her family since the age of seven. She realized her calling at an early age but she would never foretell how sensational her life would be.

Connie graduated from Miami Springs Senior High School. She was very active in Choir and Drama. After graduating, she attended Miami- Dade Community College. During Connie’s college years, she became very close friends with members of the KC and the Sunshine Band. She was introduced to Henry Stone (executive producer of Little David Productions) who would become her mentor.
In 1986, her smash hit “Funky Little Beat” was released on Nezz Records and Connie instantly became one of the Freestyle Divas from Miami. The single did superbly right out of the box, it was heard across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. This tune has become a classic freestyle anthem.
But Connie didn’t stop….she continued to record. This time two more hits were born, “Rock Me” and “Experience”. She was touring for many years.

After all this hard work, she decided to take a break from the music scene. During this period, she married a well-established attorney and had a beautiful daughter. Since her break Connie has worked on many projects including, ”No Tears” and the most recent release, “Let’s Party” in which she showed us how exquisite her vocals have become. This time she amazes us with some Spanish tracks as well.

Connie has toured with incredible performers such as……
Kool and the Gang, Morris Day, Evelyn Champagne King, Stevie B, Lisa Lisa, Expose, Jermaine Stewart, and many more. She continues performing in clubs as well as arenas. The most recent tour was The Freestyle Explosion Concert Series.
Connie loves meeting her fans and watching them smile when they hear her Freestyle Classics.
